T3 parking after Manchester’s terminal changes
Manchester’s current official information assigns Ryanair flights to Terminal 3 and other airlines to Terminal 2. Use the flight confirmation as the final check; an older guide mentioning T1 can send you towards the wrong journey.
The airport introduced P-number parking signs on 5 March 2026. A previous name may still appear in an existing booking, so save both the product name and current number.
| Current reference | Previous name in the official mapping | Type of decision |
|---|---|---|
| P13 T3 Meet & Greet | T3 Meet & Greet | Vehicle handover |
| P14 T3 Multi Storey | T3 Multi Storey | Self-parking, short visits and designated pick-up use |
| P15 T3 Mid Stay | T1/T3 Mid Stay | Pre-booked self-parking |
| P12 Mid Stay Multi Storey | T1 Multi Storey | Verify current product and terminal route |
| P16 Drop & Go | Drop & Go | Separate vehicle-handover product |
This is not a list of spaces that are all interchangeable with a T3 reservation. Check the terminal served and the connection described on each quote.
P13 T3 Meet & Greet
The P13 mapping identifies the T3 Meet & Greet product. It can be useful if you want a vehicle-handover process rather than searching for a self-park bay.
Follow the booked reception route and any arrival-call instructions. Check the keys, storage, inspection and collection arrangements. If you are using a third-party seller, identify the operator responsible for the car as well as the company taking payment.
A handover service does not remove the need to reach check-in on time. Allow a margin for a queue, inspection and the walk to the terminal.
P14 T3 Multi Storey
The official mapping labels P14 as T3 Multi Storey and identifies short-stay, pre-book, turn-up and pick-up uses. The payment and entry rules depend on which of those uses applies to your stay.
For a parked collection, allow for the passenger’s journey through arrivals before estimating how long you will pay for. For a multi-day trip, compare a pre-booked total rather than multiplying a short-visit rate.
Check the height limit, lifts and entrance directions. A general T3 postcode can lead towards a terminal approach rather than the required parking entry.
P15 T3 Mid Stay
P15 is mapped from the former T1/T3 Mid Stay name. An older confirmation may therefore mention T1 even though your flight now departs from T3.
Do not treat that old label as proof that the booking is invalid or that you should drive to an old passenger-terminal entrance. Use the current map and contact the seller if the walking route or product entitlement is unclear.
Mid Stay is a parking product, not a universal duration threshold. Compare the actual payable total and terms for your dates instead of assuming that it becomes best value after a fixed number of days.
P12 and other alternatives
P12 is shown as Mid Stay Multi Storey, formerly T1 Multi Storey. Before choosing it for a T3 flight, confirm the current terminal connection and directions attached to the quote.
The wider airport also offers handover and shuttle-based alternatives. A product appearing in an airport-wide search is not a guarantee of the same terminal access or transfer time as P13, P14 or P15.
Keep old-versus-new naming questions separate from supplier product codes. The airport’s public P-number is a wayfinding label; do not try to change a booking code yourself.
Directions and walking or transfer time
The right address is the one on the product confirmation. Save the P-number, named entrance, booked terminal and any reception instructions before driving.
This guide does not assign an unverified walking time or postcode to every T3 product. Use current official directions and the quote’s description. Add time for unloading, lifts, finding the route and any shuttle wait.
| Product type | Plan for |
|---|---|
| Multi-storey self-parking | Finding a bay, unloading and the signed pedestrian route |
| Meet & Greet | Reception or inspection plus the terminal connection |
| Mid Stay | The specified walking or transfer route, not an assumed distance |
| Shuttle alternative | Waiting, loading and the bus journey in both directions |
Ryanair departures and returns
Confirm both flight terminals. If the booking or airline changes, ask the parking operator whether you must amend the terminal or collection instructions.
Do not assume that a T2 product can be used at a T3 entrance under the same reservation. Contact the seller before travelling if the parking choice no longer matches the flight.
Pick-up and drop-off
The official naming table specifically identifies pick-up use at P14, but that does not mean a pre-booked holiday-parking reservation covers every short visit or forecourt access.
Check the current T3 collection and drop-off rules. Do not wait on access roads or leave the vehicle in an area intended only for immediate set-down. Use the named facility and follow its payment instructions.
Accessibility and Blue Badge planning
Ask about the actual bay-to-terminal route, lifts and vehicle-height restrictions. If a product involves a bus, establish its suitability for mobility equipment before paying.
Parking close to T3 does not automatically book airline assistance. Arrange assistance separately and confirm where staff can meet the passenger.
Which T3 option should you compare first?
| Need | Starting point | Important check |
|---|---|---|
| Keep your keys near the terminal | P14 | Correct rate and entrance |
| Vehicle handover | P13 | Reception and collection procedure |
| A pre-booked alternative to the closest parking | P15 and eligible other products | Current terminal route |
| An old T1-labelled confirmation | Official renaming table and seller | Match the product before driving |
| Brief collection | Current permitted T3 pick-up facility | Drive-up payment and waiting duration |
Practical T3 checklist
Check Ryanair’s latest flight information, save the current parking map and retain the old product name if it appears on your confirmation. Give the operator accurate return details and read late-return charges before booking.
Manchester T3 parking FAQs
Is T3 the Ryanair terminal?
That is the airport’s current published arrangement. Check the flight confirmation before travel.
What is the number for T3 Multi Storey?
The official mapping gives it P14.
What happened to T1/T3 Mid Stay?
It appears in the mapping as P15 T3 Mid Stay. Use the current entrance instructions.
Is an old T1 name a reason to cancel?
Not automatically. Match the old name to the current product and contact the seller if unclear.
Can I use a T2 car park instead?
Only if its booking and connection arrangements suit the T3 journey. Do not assume entrances or reservations are interchangeable.
Are all T3 spaces Blue Badge accessible?
Check the particular product’s spaces, route, vehicle limits and assistance arrangements rather than making a blanket assumption.
